Delivery Driver & Warehouse Operative at Signature Brew

ROLE OVERVIEW

Your role as a Delivery Driver & Warehouse Operative for Signature Brew is to ensure the efficient and careful delivery of our beer. Delivering our beer is a key part of our operation and as a delivery driver, you will be representing the business directly interacting with customers. Navigating the streets of London can be a challenge, so you will have to always be focused and calm whilst driving our vehicles and ensure that you drive to the rules and conditions of the road.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• As a Delivery Driver & Warehouse Operative, you'll need to:
• Load vans in an order which facilitates quick and easy delivery for yourself and assist with loading deliveries for the rest of the delivery team where required.
• Deliver kegs (40kg per keg) and cases in full, on-time and to the best of your abilities.
• Collect all empty kegs from venues as standard.
• Uphold a high quality of customer service.
• Complete a daily vehicle check, ensuring that all problems/issues are promptly reported to the Logistics manager.
• Drive with respect to other road users and pedestrians and always follow the rules of the road.
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness inside and out of our fleet of vehicles.
• Report any road traffic accidents or damage that may occur to the vehicle you are driving to the Logistics manager.
• Ensure that the brewery warehouse is kept organised, tidy up all empty pallets, dividers, pallet wrap and other misc items.
• As necessary, you will be required to assist with picking deliveries for daily routes, pallet orders and online orders.
• You will be required to load vans in an order which facilitates quick and easy delivery for yourself and assist with loading deliveries for the rest of the delivery team where required.
• Assist with maintaining the cleanliness and integrity of the site. As a dual use venue, we regularly transform the site into an event space, this requires team effort in making sure the site is always looking organised, pristine and also safe for customers.
• Adherence to company health and safety policies and manual handling procedures.

• Excellent customer service skills - you'll be the face of our brand when delivering our product.
• Full and clean driver’s licence required
• Right to live and work in the UK required
• Forklift licence desirable
