Young’s claimed that The Ram was Britain’s Longest Continuously Brewing Site. In 2006, when Young’s ceased brewing at the site, John Hatch, one of the Young’s brewing team, was retained as site-manager by the owners, Minerva and was charged with making sure that brewing continues in the interim period until a microbrewery and brewing museum is developed.
