Signal Brewery Launches Pay Day Parties to Beat the Cost-of-Living Crisis

Signal Brewery Launches Pay Day Parties to ease Cost-of-Living Crisis

Signal Brewery, nestled on the border of the Croydon and Sutton boroughs, refuses to let the cost-of-living crisis dampen the summer spirit. In response to the challenges faced by the UK beer industry, Signal Brewery is launching a series of Pay Day Parties – fun and affordable events aimed at providing an outdoor drinking experience that won't break the bank.

The brewing industry in the UK is under threat, grappling with soaring energy costs and dwindling consumer disposable income. Alarming figures indicate that 80 UK breweries shut their doors in 2022, with fears that more closures are imminent this year.

Signal Brewery, however, chooses to adopt a "glass half full" mindset. They're introducing a program of accessible events, with the highlight being the monthly Pay Day Parties. These parties will transform the taproom and extend onto the forecourt, creating a go-to destination for an exceptional yet cost-effective outdoor drinking experience in South London this summer.

Taking place on the last Saturday of each month from noon until 7pm, tickets for the Pay Day Parties are priced at an affordable £5 per person. Attendees will be treated to a complimentary pint of beer and a slice of Venti pizza upon arrival. Happy Hours from 1pm to 4pm offer pints of beer for just £4, with a 25% discount on all other drinks, including wine and spirits.

Signal Brewery takes pride in its on-site brewed beers. Guests attending the Pay Day Parties will have the opportunity to participate in free beer tastings led by the knowledgeable Signal team, offering a chance to savor the diverse range of flavors.

As a small-batch producer of vodka, rum, and an award-winning gin, Signal Brewery also presents a variety of cocktails throughout the day. A DJ playing club classics will keep the party spirit alive until the early evening.

Charlie Luckin, the Managing Director of Signal Brewery, acknowledges the challenges faced by small, independent breweries but remains determined to provide an affordable and quality drinking experience, he says:

"A cold, fresh pint of beer is a British summer staple, and our program of events ensures locals can enjoy it without the hefty price tag"

Signal Brewery invites South Londoners to join in the festivities and embrace the joy of affordable and delightful drinking experiences. By offering these Pay Day Parties, Signal aims to support the community while showcasing its exceptional range of beers and spirits. Don't miss the opportunity to celebrate summer without breaking the bank!
